The table impresses with its generous, round table top made of robust wood with a diameter of 176 cm. The simple, rectangular table legs. The table top is composed of individual wooden elements that create a rich texture and rustic charm.
Chairs:
The Stafel, also known as farm chairs or board chairs, are characterized by masterful craftsmanship and a rich history. The slanted legs, the artfully carved backrest and the construction without ridges are typical of the farmer’s chairs from the Graubünden region (Switzerland). The long, slender chair legs end in round pegs that are recessed into the seat and secured with a wedge to ensure a tight connection.
Condition: The set is in good vintage condition. The chairs show a beautiful patina. The table is stable and in good condition. Please see photos for detailed views.
