A superb pair of Swedish mid-century modern dining chairs, Designed and manufactured by Svegards Markaryd of Sweden with ladder backs and original oatmeal seat upholstery Upholstered seats in cream/brown wool weave. Excellent Vintage Condition Circa 1960s Condition Report – One seat has a slight stain, have lightly cleaned it with soft fabric cleaner so not really noticeable. The Teak is in excellent condition. Chairs are burnt marked Svegards Markaryd made in Sweden. Svegards of Markaryd, a pair of Swedish teak ladderback dining chairs with upholstered seats, maker’s stamp to the underside, together with a set of four Swedish style dining chairs (no maker’s marks) with ropework seats.
