Italian mid-century modern white modular bookcase Congresso by Lips Vago, 1960s Modular bookcase mod. Congresso with the structure entirely in white metal, original of the time, composed of four uprights, of which the central ones are double thickness, therefore not interchangeable with the two lateral ones, all four fixed to each other using threaded bars and bolts. Shelves and shelf supports are fixed by interlocking manually, without the need for other components. Produced by Lips Vago in 1960s, a merger between the Italian locksmith company Vago and the Dutch cabinet company Lips, winner of the Smau award for industrial design in 1968. Good condition, with scattered signs of age and use. Measurements in cm 308x40x250h This beautiful bookcase will be perfect wherever you decide to place it.
