What sets this piece apart from the rest is its enormous size. Most tilt-top tables from Brienz measure under 60cm across, with the vast majority of them around 50 cm across. However this example measures a massive 120cm across, more than double the size of most of its kind. The inlay is exquisitely detailed with hunting scenes and animals typically found in the region.
