\n This listing is for a rare copper relief medallion commemorating George Washington. This one depicts George Washington’s tomb.<\/p>\n

This piece is by James Crutchett Circa 1880. It comes from the Mount Vernon Factory and the wooden frame is most likely made from wood from Mount Vernon.<\/p>\n

The reverse retains its original paper label.<\/p>\n

It is tutored “Memento No 3. Salvation” followed by religious text. The bottom of the reverse says “Copyright 1880, by James Crutchett”,<\/p>\n

Medallion – 2.75 inches in diameter<\/p>\n

Frame – 4.8 inches in diameter , .75” deep.<\/p>\n
