Arne Norell, ‘Inca’ lounge chair with ottoman, leather, beech, Sweden, 1965. The iconic ‘Inca’ lounge chair with ottoman in original red leather, designed by Arne Norell. The back features thick buffalo leather. The red peather leather on the back features traits of hunting chairs. The leather on the cushions and back has a beautiful patina on the leather. The frame is made from beech. Moreover, the base of the sofa is completely held together by robust straps underneath the couch instead of glue, giving the chair a very strong character.
