Pair Dutch Marquetry Chairs. A pair of Dutch walnut and marquetry chairs, 18th Century, with foliate, vase and bird inlay, the cartouche shaped backs with wavy splats, with serpentine fronted slip-in stuffed seats and shaped seat rails, on cabriole legs ending in hoof feet. Dimensions: 49cm wide x 42cm deep x 48cm seat height x 96cm high Condition: Historic repair to the rear leg, underside of the seat & side rail on one of the chairs – evidence of historic woodworm – this has been treated, losses to the inlay – please refer to the photos.
