Vintage Design
Black DAX armchair made of fiberglass with H-base frame designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s and made at Fehlbaum (later Vitra) for Herman Miller in the 1970s. The shell is made of fiberglass and has a beautiful visible fiber structure. The condition of this black DAX armchair is still very good.
Dimensions: h x w x d = 80 x 65 x 61 cm and the seat height is 45 cm.
Marked: with the Herman Miller logo on the rubbers (see photos).

Vitra obtained a licensing agreement with Herman Miller in 1957 and then began producing Charles & Ray Eames designs. First under the name Herman Miller Fehlbaum. (Fehlbaum is the family name of the family company Vitra) and later under the name Vitra.
