A charming ewer from the Edo period.
Hirado porcelain in classic brown glazing with cobalt accents, the ewer depicts Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Japanese Gods. He represents prosperity in business and rides a large fish.
Suitable for use and can be used for sake, wine, or hot water for tea.

Offered is a Scandinavian-style aubergine glass decanter – perfect for serving uncorked wine, and just as practical for blending cocktails, or serving ice water. The rough pontil at the base is indicative of handblown studio-made glass, and while the cylindrical shape is reminiscent of Kaj Franck’s #1609 for Iitalla, the indented base indicates it is not.

It measures 4.5″ from spout to rim, 3.875″ in diameter, 10.75″ in height, and the base is 3.625″ in diameter.

Salviati Murano sticker original sicker Rare simple refined MCM Italian Turquoise Blue glass Decanter with tear drop stopper. The remnants of the original Salviati sticker show on the base. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Tear drop stopper is hollow, but sealed.
