A lovely French Early 20th century Louis XV style verdigris iron and White Carrara marble top coffee table. The table is raised by a wonderful scrolled verdigris patinated wrought iron base with charming fleur de lis gilt metal motifs and gilt metal foliate decoration.

This antique rectangular Coffee table has a finely scalloped contoured White Carrara marble top with a honed finish and a bevel edge border. The base of this Coffee table is made of intricately curl-scrolled wrought iron and with metal gilt acanthus leaves forged into the legs around the four sides. The table has a double patina from age, a polychrome finish on the verdigris antique green wrought iron base, and a polychrome antique gilt on the metal decorations. Only exposure to the elements over a hundred years can cause such a patina of weathering to be achieved. This beautiful coffee table can be placed indoors and or outdoors perfect for a country garden, courtyard, and or indoor patio.

Good Condition. The iron base is in good condition the paint verdigris finish and gilt finish are wearing from age and have a polychrome finish on both. A magnificent patina that only comes with age. The marble top is in good condition and has no stains, no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. The table is sound and sturdy.
