Cleverly designed with pleated shade for diffusing the light creating a beautiful effect when the lamp is on. Tall, elegant and classic, providing overhead lighting that doesn’t require ceiling suspension. The stylish design with attractive profile curve, the soft bentwood curve allows the bright shade to focus the light down. Original manufacturer label (Caprani Light ) branded in the cast iron base.

Fantastic vintage flamingo head lamp shade brings a cheeky and unexpected hit of 80s whimsy to your space. Similar to George Kovacs lamp designs (but better). Measures 9 inches long x 4.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall. The shade is all ceramic with glaze colors in creamy white, mauve pink, black, and a touch of yellow in the eyes. This is a shade ONLY. Shade would have originally been used on a gooseneck style table or desk lamp. Great vintage condition. Overall craquelure. There are 2 small glaze flecks at the tip of the beak (see photo). These are hard to detect since glaze is glossy they look like reflections.
