Fabulous Oscar de la Renta crisp white organza party pouf from the designer’s runway collection. The one being offered is identical to that in the runway photo below. The red and white hand stitched mylar shapes gives it an original and fresh Summer Look.

Dress is beautifully made with strapless bodice with interior corset and underslip. Fitted waistline extends out into a full pouf skirt. A wonderful silhouette that fits most body types. Balenciaga by Nicholas Ghesquiere 2001 Spring/Summer runway collection. This dress was photographed on the catwalk in white. The one being offered here is in the black and white combination. Dress was written up in Vogue magazine as highly collectible.

This dress is a Ghesquiere creation that is now quite rare and was touted several years ago by Vogue magazine as “most definitely” a collector piece! Designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s style has proven to be highly individualized and independent of conventional categorization as he demonstrates in this collection. His clothing features fabric that is manipulated, twisted, pulled, gathered and pleated with hanging strands of adornments loosely interrupting the fluidity of the silhouette.

Bias cut 1920’s chemise style dress of 100% white silk with upper bodice fashioned in white silk t-shirt fabric with body of dress constructed of white silk charmeuse. Both front and back of right side designed with white accordian pleated ruffles; back adorned with long white strands of faux pearls at shoulder. Front and back of dress are identical. Additional adornment of black netting graces right side of front and back bodice, asymmetrically at hips, and at right hemline. Asymmetrically designed jagged edge cut hemline with jagged edge trim throughout right side of garment. Side zipper closure.

Spring 2011 CDG collection by Rei Kawakubo where she rearranged or appeared to turn clothes upside down. The dress being presented is made in 3 identically styled attached dresses: black shiny poly; navy wool; and a distressed grey nylon denim.

The primary silhouette for the 3 attached dresses is a round neckline; darted fitted bodice and modified dirndl skirt. All 3 dresses are connected by the center backs with the 2 dresses not worn draped down the back. Center back zipper closure.

Either the black poly or the navy wool dress can be worn as the official main dress with other two connecting at back.
