Antique early 19th century French Louis Philippe green tole cachepot basket. Decorated with a black transfer scene in the Chinoiserie taste. Measures 10 3/8″ x 8 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ deep. Wear and loss to painted finish with metal showing through. A beautiful green ground color. Useful as a desk caddy.
