Vintage Design
This type of chest of drawers was used by officers of the English army when they were deployed to the 19th century English kingdom. For this reason, the cabinets were made in 2 parts without unnecessary decorations. Due to their sleek, simple appearance and incredibly good quality, they are now eye-catchers in any interior.
Quality is evident from the fact that the top and sides are made from one piece of solid mahogany. The sides also continue in terms of pattern. The drawer pulls are slightly more elegant than normal. And after almost 200 years, not a single crack in the case. The top has circles and spots. This can of course be removed by sanding the cabinet. But then you lose the patina of 200 years of use. And we don’t want that. Stains and circles are part of campaign furniture. This furniture was used in tents, ships and offices. Wherever the officers were based in the British Kingdom
